Day 2: chore day 1
We're going for it.
They all slept wonderfully and are all well rested and our team started working hard today. The goal: to close the kennels as much as possible with the corrugated aluminum sheets so that the kennels and the rescue pups remain dry. And we didn't start a day too early because a lot of rain is forecast in the region from tomorrow.

Teamwork
We started on the roofs right on time and early in the morning. The dogs and puppies didn't really like all that noise so early in the morning. There was carpentry, drilling and sawing, but the result is certainly impressive. Because it was a bit sunny all day, they were quickly able to provide several kennels with a roof. Before nightfall, more than half had a roof. And if it had to be this way...a rain shower came later and we could immediately see whether the kennels remained dry. And yes, bone dry, so the rescue pups can now take shelter from the rain. And that was our aim. Tomorrow we will continue with the rest of the kennels if the weather gods are kind to us because unfortunately they predict a lot of rain.
