Puppy Rescue Transport
The transport of the dogs from Italy is done by our volunteers from the Puppy Rescue Team Foundation.
The Puppy Rescue Team Foundation has its own bus, which is fully equipped with spacious permanent kennels in which the dogs can travel comfortably. Puppy Rescue Transport is an NVWA and RDW certified transport company. There are two drivers on each trip. One driver drives, the other takes care of the dogs and they take turns.
The bus is completely open on the inside, so the drivers are in constant direct contact with the dogs and keep an eye on them throughout the journey. The dogs are constantly changed, it is ensured that they have enough water and they receive tasty snacks and attention.

Drivers wanted.
But drivers also do a lot in Italy itself. They help the rescuers in the shelter with the dogs, with cleaning and building kennels, sometimes doing odd jobs and especially giving the dogs lots of cuddles. They bring the donated items to the rescuers and sometimes take the dogs to the vet. They do all kinds of things and this can differ per ride. In addition, the dogs are already getting used to them and that makes them more relaxed on their journey back to the Netherlands. And during this week, many photos and videos are made for the adopters who can't wait for the bus to arrive with their puppy.
We are still looking for people to expand our group of volunteers who want to join us as drivers. Do you want an experience that will bring tears of joy down your cheeks and tingles down your spine? A memory you will never forget?
